What are Examples of Telehealth?

Telehealth technology enables the physicians to provide remote diagnoses, monitor the patient’s medical condition, and alter the medications or the specific therapy if necessary. Telehealth also includes health education and teaching services, remote doctor-patient consultations, and remote monitoring of vital signs.

It also allows for remotely prescribed treatments and medications.

Note: Despite its numerous benefits, telemedicine does not fully replace seeing your primary care doctor for in-person checkups but rather serves as an adjunct, especially during these unique times.
